Conferences on topical economic and social issues are among the Fondazione Pesenti’s best known and most appreciated activities.

Many topics are covered: urban regeneration, different forms of capitalism, the relationship between banks and businesses, the future of industry, the role of the United States, sustainable development, the relationship between universities, research and business, the European scenario in relation to new elections, and artificial intelligence.

Nobel prizes, scholars and business leaders, bankers, university professors and representatives of the Italian and European political spheres took turns at the speaker’s table.

As of 2018, an important collaboration with Fondazione Corriere della Sera was initiated. Thanks to this partnership, Fondazione Pesenti Ets has defined a new organizational approach to the cycle of conferences, moving from one to four events per year, not excluding the possibility of organizing some events in “itinerant” form in line with the mission that sees both foundations committed to publicizing their initiatives even outside their home territory.
