2024 marks 20 years since the establishment of the Pesenti Foundation.

It was established in 2004 in Bergamo as an autonomous and independent organization under the name Fondazione Cav Lav. Carlo Pesenti in memory of one of the greatest entrepreneurial figures of the Italian 20th century.

Today it has as its mission the cultural, civil and gender growth of the younger generations, not only through education, but also through the development of entrepreneurial initiatives that have a relevant social impact. Always attentive to the needs and requirements of the area in which it operates, Fondazione Pesenti has launched and supported numerous cultural and charity initiatives for the most disadvantaged. The Foundation promotes collaboration with other Italian and foreign organizations and universities for the constant support of scientific research and cultural dissemination, including through international conferences on current economic and social issues.

Pesenti Foundation was recognized in November 2022 as a Third Sector Entity and is registered in the national Ets register. Achieving this important milestone opens up new and exciting opportunities for the Foundation, enabling it to further expand its activities in line with its statutory direction and mission.

In 2023 Fondazione Pesenti published its first Social Report, covering the three-year period 2020-2022, with a view to transparency to stakeholders and further growth in its commitment to sustainability and effectiveness of its interventions.
