The fourteenth edition of Start Cup Bergamo has begun!

Start Cup Bergamo, the University of Bergamo’s program for entrepreneurial training and development of highly innovative business ideas, which has been supported by the Fondazione Pesenti Ets for many years, is kicking off.

With the intermediate presentation of the 15 projects by the teams, the first intensive phase of the Start Cup School 2024 training, development and consolidation of business ideas came to an end. All the actors of the Start Cup system were present in the classroom, and also some former participants of the program who were called to provide their support and insights for improvement.

The project, now in its fourteenth year, is part of CREO (Competencies and Resources for Entrepreneurial Orientation), the University of Bergamo’s multidimensional program aimed at fostering students’ personal growth, creativity and capacity for innovation by involving faculty and researchers from all areas of knowledge and the territorial innovation ecosystem.

Start Cup Bergamo is divided into two training phases: it starts with the Start Cup School, a path of training, development and consolidation of business ideas, also developed with the Partners of the initiative, which is followed by the development of an entrepreneurial project. The conclusion of the training path involves the drafting of a business plan.

Focused in three modules, validation of the business idea, intensive training focused on development and finally concretization of the business project, the Start Cup School culminates in the Start Cup Competition, an award for the best business ideas, which also includes a special prize sponsored by the Fondazione Pesenti itself, which will go to the project with the highest social impact.
