We consider our young people an important resource for the future, and international school exchanges allow children to grow and mature into more curious and responsible citizens of the world. We will continue to support the new generations with the certainty that they will be able to become aware of the profound value of cultural diversity and what their role is in society .”
Andrea Franzoi, Secretary General of Intercultura, “We are grateful to the Fondazione Pesenti for renewing its support for Intercultura. For our children, spending a period abroad means learning a new language, coming into contact with a new didactics, weaving new friendships. But it also means, through training led by our volunteers, activating the development of key skills to become citizens aware of the European and global dimensions of our society. Consistent with major international institutions, from the European Union to the Council of Europe, from UNESCO to the OECD, participants in Intercultura programs are facilitated in the development of citizenship skills, skills for a culture of democracy, non-cognitive skills and intercultural competence ”.
