Fondazione Pesenti renews support for Bocconi University

Fondazione Pesenti Ets — a long-standing supporter of Bocconi University — is once again among the Major Supporters helping students through the “Partial Exemptions for the Two-Year Master’s” and “Bocconi Merit Awards” programs. Specifically, this support allows two bright and motivated young students, Gabriele from Merate (LC) and Arianna from Bergamo, to attend the Master’s Degree program in Transformative Sustainability.

In the 2021/2022 academic year, Bocconi University allocated €37 million to support its students, a 34% increase compared to the 2016/2017 academic year. Today, 1 in 4 students benefits from some form of financial aid.

In promoting merit and inclusion, the role of donors — alumni, individuals, companies, and foundations — who support Bocconi University has been crucial.

Choosing to support the education of new generations is a forward-looking and socially responsible gesture that looks toward the future of young people and the community. This commitment has steadily increased over the years, demonstrating the will to be a driver and positive agent of social mobility, helping to increase the diversity of the university community and positively impacting individual students, their families, and society at large.

Arianna

“I am honored and, at the same time, grateful to those who have chosen to support me and many other deserving students. Investing in our education and future means recognizing the importance of what our generation must and can achieve. This exemption means a lot to me. It has given me the opportunity to pursue a master’s degree I had always dreamed of attending!”

Gabriele

“With your gesture, you have chosen to create value for the direct beneficiaries of your support. Moreover, your generosity allows us to acquire the skills necessary to face the urgent challenges of today’s world, from climate change to social issues, thus creating value for society as a whole.
This exemption is a key that opens doors for me—doors I have worked hard and sacrificed to reach. Academically, it allows me to study what I have always wanted: sustainability, in an innovative program with few, if any, equivalents in the world.”
