Thanks to the support of Fondazione Pesenti, in collaboration with Marco Imperadori, Professor at Politecnico di Milano and member of the Foundation’s Board, together with technical partners and many volunteers, the Centre is today a thriving reality that offers opportunities and hope.
Over the years, ten insulated refrigerated containers, two houses, a water well, poultry farming facilities, sanitary services, and fencing structures have been built. A collective effort that also involved students and researchers, able to combine innovation with sustainability.
From the desert, a living farm has now been born: the greenery surrounding the Centre is the tangible sign of this journey. The smiles of Todara and Kotaka, the family of Yannick Boussim, and the local community are the greatest reward for everyone’s commitment.
