In 2023, a charitable donation was allocated to support an educational project promoted by the CDEC Foundation and the Shoah Memorial Foundation.
Since 2022, the CDEC Foundation and the Shoah Memorial Foundation have established a collaboration in the field of education, with the aim of supporting schools committed to educating younger generations about the Holocaust in Italy and promoting human rights education. This collaboration draws upon the spaces and cultural heritage managed and actively preserved by each of the two institutions.
In response to the needs of primary schools for a targeted and appropriate educational offering—aimed at countering the development of antisemitic stereotypes—the two foundations designed an annual initiative to be held at the Shoah Memorial site, starting in spring 2023. The program leverages the expertise of both organizations and the cultural resources of the CDEC Foundation.
