During 2023, a charitable donation was made in favor of the “Amici della Pediatria” Onlus Association.
The funding was allocated to a scholarship for training and research activities for Ukrainian pediatrician Anastasiia Romanchuk, within the departments of General Pediatrics, Pediatric Oncohematology, Pediatric Hepatology and Gastroenterology, and Pediatric Intensive Care at ASST Papa Giovanni XXIII Hospital in Bergamo.
The aim is to provide her with a specialization pathway during a particularly challenging time for her home country.
