The collaboration between Fondazione Pesenti ETS and Vidas on various projects from 2020 to 2022 reflects the Foundation’s commitment to supporting health and social care initiatives.
In 2020, the Foundation allocated funds to help cover the purchase of personal protective equipment to ensure continuous monitoring of the health of both healthcare workers and patients, whether hospitalized or receiving care at home. Specifically, 1,400 rapid antigen tests and 250 disposable gowns were purchased for the months of December 2020 and January 2021.
In 2021, Fondazione Pesenti ETS continued its support by providing further funding to cover the costs of 40 days of adult home care and 44 days of pediatric home care.
In 2022, the Foundation funded the “Fragile Patients with Complex Chronic Conditions” project, a pilot initiative aimed at delivering home healthcare to patients suffering from chronic and complex illnesses.
In Lombardy, the number of frail elderly individuals is steadily increasing, and the Vidas project aims to provide essential home-based care to those in need.

In 2023, the Pesenti Foundation continued to support this initiative by providing 100 days of pediatric home care assistance, specifically including: socio-healthcare services; 24/7 year-round medical and nursing phone support; a multidisciplinary pediatric home care team comprising a doctor, nurse, social worker, speech therapist, hygiene specialist, physiotherapist, and psychologist; emergency home visits both day and night, seven days a week; relational and practical support—both at home and outside—offered by volunteers; and the delivery of medical supplies and assistive equipment to make the home a suitable environment for care.
