Fondazione Pesenti has supported and collaborated for many years with the BergamoScienza Association, one of the first in Italy to promote and organize events aimed at encouraging scientific dissemination, fostering engagement between young people and researchers and scientists, and increasing awareness of local enterprises.
For 2017 as well, Fondazione Pesenti will stand alongside BergamoScienza in organizing the annual festival..
BergamoScienza is a science dissemination festival that, since 2003, has involved the city by offering a rich program of free events.
The goal is to bring science “into the public square” and make it accessible to everyone, involving schools, youth, the general public, as well as institutions, businesses, and important organizations from both the local and national scene.
Many events make BergamoScienza Festival, held annually during the first two weeks of October, a celebration of great discoveries, encounters, and inspiration: conferences, round tables, exhibitions, interactive workshops, shows, and much more—all freely open to the public.
The 15th edition of BergamoScienza will take place from Sunday, October 1 to Sunday, October 15, 2017. The program will offer scientific dissemination and in-depth learning activities and events, featuring high-profile guests.

The BergamoScienza Association was founded in 2005 following the great success of the first two editions (2003 and 2004) of the scientific festival of the same name.
The founders of BergamoScienza Festival, longtime friends and members of the cultural association SINAPSI, decided in 2003 to launch an event focused on cultural and scientific dissemination.
Two years later, together with the public and private institutions that had supported the first two editions, the group established the association: a non-profit organization created precisely to organize the festival.
