Fondazione Pesenti supports the activities of the Intercultura Association through the awarding of 4 scholarships to be granted during the 2016-2017 school year.
- 1 scholarship for the “Year in the USA” program to be awarded to a student who is a child or grandchild of employees of the Italmobiliare Group.
- 1 scholarship for the “Year in Italy” program to be awarded to an Egyptian student.
- 2 scholarships for the “Three Months in Italy” program to be awarded to two Bulgarian students.
The collaboration between Fondazione Pesenti and Intercultura began and developed during the 2009/2010 school year.
This is an educational initiative aimed at overcoming physical and immaterial boundaries and removing social and intellectual barriers to form a generation of “intercultural natives.”
Associazione Intercultura Onlus for over 60 years has promoted intercultural dialogue through international exchange programs involving thousands of young people and host families worldwide. The association supports the internationalization of Italian education by offering best practice examples and training sessions on exchange program management (it is officially recognized by the Italian Ministry of Education as a provider of training for school staff).
