Fondazione Pesenti renews its support for AIP Parkinsoniani (Italian Association for Parkinson’s Disease) in 2024

Fondazione Pesenti has confirmed its support once again in 2024 for AIP Parkinsoniani Bergamo, the local branch of the Italian Parkinson’s Association, in aid of its activities for Parkinson’s patients and their families.

Founded in 2000, AIP Parkinsoniani Bergamo currently has around 300 members and serves as a key point of reference in the region for patients, caregivers, and their families. The association is committed to improving the quality of life for individuals affected by Parkinsonism by supporting them in accepting the disease, protecting their rights, and promoting greater public awareness.

In addition to clinical support, the association also offers guidance on everyday aspects such as nutrition, physical therapy, speech therapy, and psychological counseling. It actively engages in dialogue with local institutions.

In 2024, on the occasion of the National Parkinson’s Disease Day, the association organized a charity concert at Teatro Serassi in Villa d’Almè as part of its efforts to raise awareness and promote its mission. The event was conceived as a moment of connection and lightness—offering entertainment and social engagement while deliberately setting aside medical discussions to foster a sense of closeness and community around the cause.
