Fondazione Pesenti and the University of Milan renew their commitment to academic excellence and regional development with the second edition of their fellowship project.
Launched in 2018, the initiative has already had a significant impact by supporting the position of Assistant Professor within the Department of Economics, Management and Quantitative Methods at the University.
In 2024, the collaboration between Fondazione Pesenti and the University of Milan continues with the funding of a three-year fellowship dedicated to promoting outstanding economic research. The project aligns with a long-term vision aimed at strengthening the connection between the university and the local area by attracting high-profile academic talent.
The fellowship was awarded to Vojtech Bartos, an economist with extensive international experience gained at the University of Munich. Active from April 1, 2022, to March 31, 2025, the fellowship is integrated into his academic role within the Department of Economics, Management and Quantitative Methods, enabling him to carry out high-impact research and contribute significantly to the university’s scientific development.
Through this initiative, Fondazione Pesenti reaffirms its commitment to investing in human capital and the production of knowledge, helping to foster an environment conducive to innovation and the competitiveness of the Italian university system.
