Fondazione Pesenti for the Takir School, Guinea-Bissau

In January, the components (panels and steel structure) for the construction of a new school run by the Oblate Fathers arrived in Takir, Guinea-Bissau, thanks to the support of Fondazione Pesenti.

Below are some photos of the school’s construction: the shipment of the container was made possible with the help of Fondazione Pesenti, in collaboration with Professor Marco Imperadori, Professor at the Politecnico di Milano and Board Member of Fondazione Pesenti, while most of the materials were provided by Manni Group.

Since 2018, Fondazione Pesenti has supported several projects in Guinea-Bissau. In particular, in Farim it contributed to the construction of the “Borboleta” infirmary, a small school called “Gazela” and the nutritional center and pharmacy “Papagaio” which serves around 2,000 children and their mothers in an area severely affected by child malnutrition.
