Fondazione Pesenti ETS has demonstrated its commitment to environmental conservation and protection through its support of African Parks, a non-profit organization dedicated to the rehabilitation and long-term management of African national parks, in partnership with governments and local communities.
Thanks to the efforts of African Parks, 19 national parks and protected areas across 11 African countries have been restored and conserved, covering over 14.2 million hectares of land. This work is essential for preserving biodiversity, safeguarding ecosystems, and protecting numerous endangered animal species.
The Foundation contributed to this important initiative for two consecutive years, in 2020 and 2021. Its support has enabled African Parks to continue protecting Africa’s precious natural treasures, promoting both environmental conservation and the safeguarding of endangered wildlife.
