In celebration of the opening of the 2023–2024 La Scala Season, Fondazione Pesenti ETS supported the traditional publishing initiative of Amici della Scala, long promoted by the Association and its founder and president, Anna Crespi.
The Foundation made possible the publication of the volume “Damiani. The Theater of an Innovator”, which will be presented on November 30, 2023, at the “A. Toscanini” hall at Teatro alla Scala.
The presentation will be followed by the introduction of four monographs: “Anni alla Scala”, “Spinatelli alla Scala”, “Pescucci alla Scala”, and “Squarciapino alla Scala”, all authored by Vittoria Crespi Morbio (published by Amici della Scala – Step Editrice, Parma). For the occasion, pianist Alberto Chines will perform music by Domenico Scarlatti and Wolfgang A. Mozart.
The Foundation’s ongoing commitment to initiatives like these stems from a strong belief that culture, art, and leisure are essential elements in enriching people’s lives and strengthening the social fabric.
