The thirteenth edition of Start Cup Bergamo is underway — the entrepreneurial training and innovative business idea development program of the University of Bergamo, supported for years by the Fondazione Pesenti. This year marks a record number of enrollments, with 79 students ready to take on the challenge!
The Start Cup Bergamo 2023 project is divided into two consecutive phases: Start Cup School and Start Cup Competition. Start Cup School is a training, development, and idea-consolidation program that culminates in the final event of the Start Cup Competition, which aims to highlight business ideas by connecting them with the local economic and social fabric. The Start Cup Competition recognizes the best business ideas and includes a Special Prize promoted by Fondazione Pesenti, awarded to the project with the greatest social impact.
Start Cup School features an entrepreneurial training program, developed also with the contribution of the initiative’s Partners. A core part of the training is the development of a business project: the final step of the program involves writing a business plan.
Start Cup School is structured in three modules, scheduled for July 2023:
The first module focuses on validating the business idea;
The second module offers intensive training centered on developing the business concept;
The third module is aimed at turning the business project into a concrete plan.
