Once again this year, Fondazione Pesenti supports the Giorgio Ambrosoli Civil Association in promoting the 2021 Civil Virtue Day.
This edition of the Day – themed “Building” – is dedicated to Marco Biagi, a cultured and refined jurist who was fatally attacked by a commando of the New Red Brigades. The most important result of his research is the White Paper on the Labor Market, published by the Ministry of Labor and Social Policies in October 2001, the outcome of an in-depth analysis of Italy’s social and productive reality conducted by a group of scholars coordinated by Biagi and Maurizio Sacconi.

The Giorgio Ambrosoli Civil Association was founded by a group of citizens with the aim of highlighting the need for personal commitment in building a just and free society based on the principles of the Italian Constitution.
Each year, through the Civil Virtue Day – held under the High Patronage of the President of the Republic – we honor the memory of a citizen who chose to live fully both his profession and his civic duty, free from external pressures and in full respect of the fundamental values of democracy.
