For a conviviality of differences,” supported by Fondazione Pesenti, with the talk “Building the Future. For a pact between generations” held at the Basilica of S. Maria Maggiore, Città Alta Bergamo.
Our country risks becoming the land of Cronus, the mythological god who devoured his children. The future of our children and grandchildren will depend on the choices we make today, if we are able to transform what we see today as problems into challenges and opportunities to move forward from.
Tito Michele Boeri is an Italian economist. He has been a consultant for the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank, the European Commission, and the Italian government, as well as an economist at the OECD. Currently, as President of INPS, he proposes a welfare project that turns the pact between generations into reality.
Gad Lerner is one of the most popular Italian journalists. Through the media, he comments on what happens in Italy and the world and encourages reflection on the issues underlying the fundamental questions of national and international politics. For his birthday, he gifted himself by signing the Generational Pact against gerontocracy.
