In 2020, Fondazione Pesenti ETS made a charitable donation to the Diocesan Missionary Center. The contribution enabled the distribution of food supplies to a Palestinian community in need, as well as support for poor families in the mountains of Cochabamba, who were unable to travel to the city to purchase essential goods due to Covid-related restrictions. Through this support, the Foundation helped improve the living conditions of people facing significant hardship.
In 2021, the Foundation reaffirmed its commitment to the Diocesan Missionary Center with an additional donation. This contribution supported several initiatives, including the St. Louis Christian Hospital in Jerusalem, the St. Joseph Rehabilitation Center in Thailand, and the “Casa di Case” project by the Aeper Group of Bergamo.
In 2022, Fondazione Pesenti ETS donated funds to implement various projects both in Italy and abroad. In Peru, as part of the Operazione Mato Grosso, a new facility was built to serve as a kitchen and canteen for the poorest families in the community. In the Holy Land, in the heart of the Gaza Strip, the Foundation supported the work of the Missionaries of Charity of Mother Teresa of Calcutta, who assist the most impoverished Palestinians. Lastly, in Bergamo, the Diocesan Missionary Center provided support to the Capuchin Friars of Borgo Palazzo, who distribute 150 free meals daily to the city’s most vulnerable residents.
