The Master’s program is jointly coordinated by the University of Bergamo and the University of Milano-Bicocca, and is part of the International Heart School, founded 30 years ago with a humanitarian mission to build a global network of expertise in cardiac surgery.

The scholarship offered by Fondazione Pesenti ETS will support a cardiologist or cardiac surgeon from a country facing significant challenges in terms of hospital infrastructure. Each year, the program admits a maximum of 10 participants, offering them the opportunity to expand and enhance their skills in this specialized field.
The Foundation demonstrates its strong commitment to supporting the education and training of medical professionals from disadvantaged countries, with the goal of improving access to cardiovascular care worldwide.
