If we desire continuous economic growth, we must be aware that this comes at a cost: it intensifies inequalities that divide our society, highlights gender pay gaps, and triples child poverty rates. Lerner’s talk offered a journey—through words and images—into the contradictions of our globalized world.
Gad Lerner is one of Italy’s most prominent journalists. He has long been committed to exploring the deeper issues behind key national and international political matters.
Among his most recent programs are:
“Operai”, an investigation into the world of labor in contemporary society.
“La difesa della razza”, which tackles old and new prejudices against foreigners and the persistent narrative of “Us” versus “Them.”
