Work finished on Takir school in Guinea Bissau

The new school of the Oblate Fathers was built in Takir in Guinea Bissau thanks to the support of Fondazione Pesenti Ets.

By January, work had begun on the construction of the school: the shipping of the container containing the materials (panels and steel structure) was carried out with the help of the Foundation, in collaboration with Prof. Marco Imperadori, Professor at the Politecnico di Milano and Advisor to the Foundation.

Fondazione Pesenti Ets since 2018 has been supporting several projects in Guinea Bissau, in particular in Farim it has supported the construction of an infirmary “Borboleta,” a small school “Gazela,” and the nutrition center and pharmacy “Papagaio,” which cares for about 2,000 children and their mothers in an area severely affected by child malnutrition.
