In an increasingly globalized world, the ability to engage with different cultures is becoming ever more important.
For this reason, Fondazione Pesenti has decided to further support Intercultura’s activities by launching a new initiative together with Fondazione Giovanni Agnelli and UniCredit Foundation, aimed specifically at Technical Institutes—which traditionally have lower international mobility compared to high schools.
Thanks to this collaboration, Intercultura is offering 15 scholarships for quarterly exchange programs in Flemish Belgium, France, the Czech Republic, Serbia, and Switzerland. Eligible candidates are high-achieving students enrolled in the third year of Technical Institutes specializing in:
Agriculture, Food, and Agroindustry
IT and Telecommunications
Tourism and Professional Courses in Agriculture, Rural Development, Territorial Product Valorization, and Forest and Mountain Resource Management
Food & Wine and Hotel Hospitality
The program targets students in Campania, Lombardy, and Piedmont with a family income up to €65,000. Departures are planned for summer 2022.
The initiative is managed by Intercultura, a nonprofit leader in intercultural school exchanges, recognized by the President of the Italian Republic.
Since 1955, Intercultura has promoted international exchanges in over 60 countries, sending more than 2,200 Italian students abroad annually.
Application deadline extended to November 30, 2021, more details at www.intercultura.it/a-scuola-in-europa/
