The annual conference of the Cav. Lav. Carlo Pesenti Foundation on the virtuous models of interaction among institutions, universities and companies, promoting the ground breaking technologies deriving from scientific research.
Bergamo, 6 December 2006 – The Pesenti Foundation asked IReR to prepare a comparative study on the virtuous models of interaction among institutions, universities and companies, promoting the ground breaking technologies deriving from scientific research, in the main OCSE countries.
A significant contribution to the above analysis has been offered by authoritative international institutes. The presentation of this study is the perfect opportunity for a round table among institutions, academic world and companies on the possible future actions for the growth and the expansion of research. This conference was the occasion for discussing about the Italian situation during the process of production and diffusion of the innovation considered a strategic kernel for companies’ competitiveness in our Country.
The study was presented by Roberto Verganti, head of the “Alta Scuola” of the Polytechnic of Milan/Torino and coordinator of the research. The round table registered the participation of distinguished speakers as Luigi Nicolais, Italian Minister for the Reforms and Innovations; Adriano De Maio, Deputy for Education, Research and Innovation of Lombardy; Alberto Bombassei, President of Brembo’s Industries and Deputy President of Confindustria; Andrea Moltrasio, entrepreneur and President of Confindustria’s European Technical Committee; Ezio Andreta President of APRE (Agency for the Promotion of the European Search).
