BUSINESS SUPPORTING CULTURE AND NEW FORMS OF PATRONAGE
On January 23, 2018, Oscar Giannino spoke at the meeting with companies supporting Raphael and the Echo of the Myth in Bergamo, just days before the exhibition opening. He highlighted the importance of businesses investing in art and culture.
The project by Fondazione Accademia Carrara, which counts Fondazione Pesenti among its supporters, provided an opportunity to explore the connection between culture and business and the new forms of patronage.

Over the centuries, art and culture have flourished not only thanks to the genius of artists but also through the will and foresight of patrons and later collectors, who helped create and preserve a heritage we still enjoy today. The history of Accademia Carrara proves this: it is an institution recognized not only as one of the most beautiful art galleries in the world but also as the museum of Italian collecting.
Today, Carrara benefits from the ongoing support of the members of Fondazione Accademia Carrara. On the occasion of Raphael and the Echo of the Myth, many organizations have joined in, confirming not only the quality of the project but also the territorial, national, and international interest in such a significant exhibition.
